Keith,

So very sorry to hear about your dad. It's so difficult to lose a parent and it's never easy no matter how 'old' we are when it happens.
You are in my thoughts.
Stay strong.

MrKhay and kmfarm (and his grandchild) are a hoot during Packer games. Helps that Green Bay is playing so well and winning. How do we get more people to chat? A couple of the gals stop by to say hi even though Football isn't their thing. Any ideas? Jot them down in the forums or in my guest book here...and come on by for the next game.

Keith

I've greeted at least a couple of hundred old Members today. I hope this will encourage a few - or more - to return and perhaps become more active. All of these Member's I'm greeting in their guestbooks have one - and only one - Forum post. I like the idea of them becoming active because that could suddenly mean a half dozen to a couple of dozen more active voices in our Wisconsin Forums. The more, the merrier...and the richer the experience for all of us.

Regards,
Keith

p.s.: LOVE the halloween/Fall/Thanksgiving theme, Kris10!

Woke up about 3:30 am today and jumped on theBubbler (of course!).

Caught up on greeting new Members.

Visited all kinds of pages and continued to find great new features in our Wisconsin online community.

Figured out how to edit my "Interests". Cool. Just add one at a time, then add another. This is great because it makes it easier to find others with similar interests. In the old site, you had to hope someone knew to add keyword, keyword phrase, keyword ~ all separated by commas. Now the keywords are right there and when you click on any word or phrase you get a list of Members with the same interests.

We have to do video tutorials soon.

Also added personal info to my Member page.

Got four or five more posts in at the Forum thread (toward bottom of home page) with kudos and suggestions for the new theBubbler.com

Alexa says we're still relatively slow. I'm hoping some tweaking might bring us up into the top half of fast sites. We're certainly MUCH faster than the old theBubbler.com!

I've got to get lots of stuff caught up on here. Many images to post for one. Friends list updates for another. Forum rules and just plain fun conversations for a third and last but not least, I'd like to get a chat schedule going.

Nice to do an updated blog entry.

Regards,
Keith

I thought this title on the Events Calendar was interesting - and it is!

http://wisevents.com/view_entry.php?id=425&date=20070129
shows the event running till February 11th, Free, at the John Michael Kohler Arts Center Community Gallery, 608 New York Ave, Sheboygan, Sheboygan County.

From the listing:

Works of art made by area artists, other adults, and children from computer parts, old cell phones, hand helds and other technological tools will be exhibited. Participants were asked to "bring new life to technological wonders that have passed their prime."

Call 920 458 6144.

Regards,
Keith
