Do you still root for the Packers, Bucks, Brewers, Badgers..
Here's the question we all want to know: do you still root for the Green and Gold? How about Bucky Badger and Bernie Brewer? Do you ever see them in your area?
Who was your favorite home team, and how about now? Let us know which way the ball bounces away from home, will you?
Regards,
Keith

Of Course we still root for our teams. I live in Phoenix, AZ now for the past 5 years. I have a group of about 35 friends here that all went to UWM or UW. We get together and watch all the games we can. The Brewers and Badgers are the hardest to get on TV, but there are places. I think last I counted there were 13 Packer bars in the Phoenix area, and they get Wisco tv broadcasts.
I still have my season tickets to the Packers, and I try to make it back for 2 or 3 games a year. And 2 of my buddies are the same way.
If the Brew Crew keeps it together, maybe more games will get televised here.

Re: Do you still root for the Packers, Bucks, Brewers, Badgers..
Well, even when I lived in WI. I was considered by many locals to be a very EXTREEME CHEESEHEAD! So imagine what it's like here in Florida! Although, I am in good company here, many Wisconsinites have relocated here!
Before our last big game this season, I found myself at Publix, in line, wearing my Packer gear and lo and behold! There were about 5-6 of us all gathered around in green & gold! So we all ended up talking about "our team", even carrying the conversations outside in the parking lot!
Once a REAL Packer Fan, always a fan!
I admit, I was in my bathroom within seconds of the Packers/Giants game sobbing like a big baby, the sounds of 2 phones ringing, text msg. "beeps" and then the emails pouring in......in the background. And friends knew not to bother trying to talk to me for 24 hours.
I also still root for the Brewers and the Badgers as well.
You can take the girl out of Wisconsin, but you can't take the Cheese out of the girl.

Re: Do you still root for the Packers, Bucks, Brewers, Badgers..
It has been ages since I stopped in here and perused the site! I never know exactly where to go just to say HOWDY! Today, all I have to say is
GO PACKERS!
What I would give to be in Green Bay this evening.............
How did ya'll handle the Favre thing? I was very disappointed, went through stages of being mad at Thompson, being mad at Favre, stunned at the Jets picking him up, ordered a Jets #4 Jersey at 3:15am when the news broke (to safely pack away with my Favre mementos), to watching Favre's opening game and cheering him on.....to FINALLY get my Packer Fever back and truly going crazy again for my Pack!
My son shamed me into changing my myspace profile where I stated "I have a new favorite #2 team...the Jets". I got over it after game 1.
It's amazing here, in NW Florida, to see so many Packer Fans! I wear one of a dozen different Packer caps/shirts etc., here year-round, and it certainly stirs up conversation here in Gator/Seminole/'Bama/Jaguars/Bucs/Dolphins/Saints football territory! But feedback is generally 95% positive.
Everyone says "You Cheeseheads are the nicest people.....Wisconsin is so pretty!"
Makes me homesick. But I will be satisfied to watch the game on TV this evening as usual, I am already doning my Packer t-shirt for the day.....and drinking my coffee from my Lambeau Field Mug.
....and now I will continue reading the forum to catch up on what's been going on "up nort" in the previous few months. (I've been busy dodging hurricanes.....)
