Which lakes are the deepest?

Hi everyone

I live in Wausau and have recently bought a boat, we have taken it onto Lake Wausau a few times, but it has a lot of shallow areas, I find it quite stressful having to check the depth all the time in case we run aground. Can anyone tell me of lakes or rivers where I needn't worry about running into shallow waters or floating logs?

You can't go wrong with Green Lake...the deepest inland lake in the State.
