Audiobooks are great for those situations when it might be inconvenient to carry a book, yet you can listen to an audiobook on your MP3 player (as I often do). You can "read" an audiobook when doing most anything.. I usually listen while I'm typing posts!
Do you "read" (listen to) Audiobooks? If so, where do you use purchase them?
I just got the latest issue of AudioFile magazine (a magazine about, guess what? Audiobooks!).. it's a great magazine with lots of reviews and info on new audiobook releases.
Most print books are also available as an audiobook (I think even Keith's book is available as an audiobook or will be).
You can look for audiobooks on Amazon by clicking the link to theBubbler Amazon store below in my SIG.
Some of Joel Osteen's audiobooks.. I really like Joel's books and hearing them narrated by him is a plus too. Amazes me he has time to narrate his own books!
Once in awhile I catch Joel on an early show on Sunday mornings. He is very interesting and enjoyable to watch. I would love to have an audio book of his. Maybe I shall add that to my Christmas list this year.

I think you'd enjoy listening.. he's very inspiring and motivational, even for non-Christians. I think everyone could come away from his books (or sermons) with a littel extra something. I usually catch him late on Sunday, if I remember, and am subscribed to his site's newsletter.

A mysterious book with a dangerous secret.
An evil brotherhood out to conquer the world.
One man stands between them . . . with his family in the balance.
In the twelfth century, Henry the Lion collected the rarest relics in Christendom. And to protect his most precious acquisitions, he encoded the whereabouts in a gorgeous illuminated manuscript called The Gospels of Henry the Lion.
The manuscript has been showing up and disappearing ever since. No one knows where the relic has been hidden . . . or its ultimate power.
Only one man holds the key to the mystery.
He's carrying it in his briefcase at his son's school for show-and-tell, and he thinks it's a fake. But he's about to find out just how real it is.
The wolves are closing in. If August Adams can't decode the secret in time, the world's balance of power will forever be altered.
Great thread! Best: Rocket Boys, unabridged and read by the author. True story of a West Virginia coal town boy who witnessed Sputnik while in High School and worked on finding a way to go to college and become an engineer for NASA. Made into the movie, "October Sky". Tuesday's with Morrie, unabridged and read by the author also quite memorable. Many more...currently doubling my "reading" from 25 to 50 books / year via audiobooks. Regards, Keith
And still my favorites.. very inspirational and easy to listen to.

I think you'll enjoy it.. some don't like him as they feel he's not bible-based. He doesn't believe in condemnation (for example).. he thinks that's up to God, not him.
So what did you think? A lot of Christians don't like Joel's "prosperity gospel" and say he is not bible-based.. personally, I think I'd rathered spend my Sundays being uplifted than being condemned.
Lost all my Joel Osteen audiobooks when I lost my hard drive

Thomas Paine's "Common Sense". Found it online...not sure where.
"Call of The Wild" by Jack London. Also found it online, probably the same place as "Common Sense"
