Twilight Series
Has anyone else read and loved the Twilight series by Stephenie Meyer?
These books are amazing. If you ever wanted a good Series to read this is certainly the one. I am not one big for "romance" books (if there’s a lot or even a little) but these books are so good. You get sucked into the book from the beginning. In my personal experiences I have got so into these books that I have began to forget time and time again that these people are just characters in a book. This book is completely addicting!=]
If you have read the book what was your favorite part?
Questions you have?
Predictions for Breaking Dawn?
Are you waiting for Midnight Sun?" (Edward's point of view series)
Do you role play on the internet for the Twilight Series?( If so any good websites?)
Basically post anything to do with the book.
I know i probably don’t have to put this but still.
Be Nice!

Re: Twilight Series
Breaking Dawn, 4th of the series I've heard from my daughter is a great book! So, how many have read it now? I know it's been out just for a short time but long enough for those that are addicted (like my daughter!) lol to have finished it. My daughter just had to have the book that she went to the after hours party at the book store and waiting until midnight so she could be one of the first to get the book!
Just remember if you discuss the book please don't give to much away about the ending just yet...there's many of us that haven't read it yet! Yeah dear daughter...I will get to it! lol I know it's bugging her that I am behind in reading so she can't tell me what happened in the last book! lol

Re: Twilight Series
Let me start out by saying that I am an adult and probably shouldn't be so addicted to Young Adult fiction. But I am. I am a SUPER HUGE fan! I don't think I have even been so addicted to a book series before. Even all of the Harry Potters. Twilight, the first in the series, I finished, turned back to the front, and immediately reread it again. I have NEVER in my life reread a book on purpose. Even the second time around I still couldn't put it down. I now have about 200 pages or so left in Breaking Dawn, the last of the series. I am having a terrible time even putting it down for4 a few minutes to go and get something to drink. It is certainly an incredible series!
On another note, for those that are fans.....have you heard that the movie release has been bumped ahead from December 12 to November 21? I can't wait for the movie to come out. It will be interesting to see if they can pull off the intensity that the book has.

lol lol I know what you mean! lol lol I started this because of my 15 year old daughter but I'm also a grandmother too...so you can imagine how surprised I was that I fell in love with a young adult series! ( I have much older children too).
Stephenie Meyer wrote this series for young adults and she also was quite surprised at how it quickly became a series that all ages are addicted too.
Can't wait for the movie and it's great that they moved it up! Yeah!
By the way, my daughter loves role playing this..do you participate in this?

No I don't. I'm really pretty new to the whole series and all that goes with it. I only first heard about it a couple of months ago. The lead singer of band that I am a huge fan of, Blue October, was going with Stephenie Meyer and performing during her book signings. I wanted to go to one to see him, not her, but the closest one was in Chicago. But it did pique my curiosity.
After waiting months on the hold list at the library I finally got my hands on Twilight. There was no way I could wait months for the next ones so I had to break down and buy them all. I'm so glad I did. I've only had them for a week now, but managed to finish them all already. I just couldn't stop!
Have you or your daughter read any of the outtakes and things on her website? If you go to StephenieMeyer.com -- The Official Website of Stephenie Meyer she has chapters that were lost to editing for the first two book, plus a lot of other extras. If you haven't been there you should take a look!

Re: Twilight Series
I do role play for the twilight series as PK mentioned. (Im her wonderful 15year old daughter)
I go to chatzy at times
heres 2 of my favorites i go to.
chatzy.com/279890402659
chatzy.com/768305793098
They do not always roleplay they also will talk about what ever. Just so everyone knows the people that go on thoes chatzys are Teens.
My friends who have myspaces roleplay on there. (I have yet to do this but my mom says Im too young for the myspace still. Help? lol lol) They say the myspace is a lot more fun because you just role play. You dont roleplay a little and chat about school work alot, like you do with Chatzy lol..
So I hope these help

Re: Twilight Series
Good Morning Twilighters! Have you heard the latest news? The first 12 chapters of Midnight Sun, Stephenie Meyers' latest project, was leaked onto the internet a couple weeks ago. Today she has addressed it on her site, and has gone ahead and POSTED THE LEAKED CHAPTERS! You can find them at http://www.stepheniemeyer.com/midnightsun.html
Though I am sad that she is so upset over the leak, I cannot contain my excitement that I will get the chance to read them! The first chapter that she had on there originally was so good I couldn't wait for more! Now I get a bit more, which is super exciting. I do hope that she doesn't go ahead with her threat of never finishing it. I would LOVE to read the entire thing over and over the way I have with the others!

Re: Twilight Series
It's sad that Stephenie Meyer has decided to drop her new book, "Midnight Sun" because of a web leak. Apparently many chapters of work that was not a final draft was leaked by someone that was very much trusted by Meyer. Since then she has been so upset by the whole ordeal that she claims she cannot write anymore on the book. She made a comment that if she wrote anymore she would just kill the Cullen Family off in the book. That would be disastrous to all the fans.
I understand that she is putting the book aside for an indefinitely period of time because she is upset. But what I don't understand is, since she started this series aiming for the 'teen' age group thousands upon thousands of kids even those that usually dislike reading, tuned in to reading by her series. So, doesn't she almost owe them all something? What I mean is, the teens should not be 'punished' by not getting this book that they have been waiting for because something in her business world did not go the way she thought. Yes, it's a big deal that someone she trusted turned her book out before she ok'd it. But did the fans do this? No.
I think maybe there should be a long wait but then the business issues should be set aside and the book should continue. Her true fans will still buy the book and still love the story no matter if a big share of it was on the web or not. In a way she almost has a responsibility to her younger fan club.
Maybe if everyone wrote to her in care of her website she would get encouraged to continue this book.
