This poem by my step son is what sparked Love hurts and love is blind.
Love is Given, You cannot take Love
Some people love to love
Some people hate to love
Lets set it straight in the name of love
I’m here because of love
My parents shared a love
They made love.....9 months later...there I was
In many areas… taken different lengths
Fallin in and out of love, throughout my growing pains
I aint gon name names, I broke a heart or two
To be honest with you, I had mine broken too
Sometimes you go through hell to find heaven
Sometimes you have the worst time with your best friend
Its a mess when...love can get confused
Loves can be like a face being broken and bruised
Verbally abused, spat on and disrespected
For how many sex partners you've collected
Its expected...things can get ugly
But remember...they can be lovely
Loving to love....
Loving to be loved...
Crack a smile when your soul makes you think of...
Finding freedom... in a snug hug
The thought of love gives your hearts string a strong tug...
Speak of true love..as if it never happens
All because they ex...they still mad at em
Cant get past em..them days is old
The good the bad, The truth and the lies told
Such a heavy load, of broken heart
Seems to way a ton..when its in a million parts
Everything is dark, the sunshine is gone
Turn off the radio..when they play a love song
Love is long gone...and you dont wanna find it
Now angry and bitter..is how your times spent
Time can heal...things can get ugly
But dont foget...they can be lovely
