Question Which Products Would You Buy Online?

Do you shop online? If so, are there some types of items you would be more apt to shop for online and why? Do you try and shop with a Wisconsin online retailer, when you can?

If you buy online, what are some of the things you like best about purchasing online? (price, convenience, selection, etc)

What have you bought online recently?

You may select more than one answer.

Re: Which Products Would You Buy Online?

I purchase alot online.. from books, magazines, and music to tickets, food items, and electronic gear (mp3 players, phones, computers, digital cameras).

I like the convenience and find it safe (especially when buying from a reputable online retailer), plus I like being able to do research online about a purchase and then buy it minutes later. Often you don't pay tax or shipping so you save money right from the outset.

Probably the only thing I wouldn't buy online is jewelry or clothing.. both things I prefer to buy in person!

(Don't forget to patronize the theBubbler Amazon store!)

Re: Which Products Would You Buy Online?

ALL OF THE ABOVE ~ Have purchased everything on the list - online!

Helped clients sell most of it, too!

Software, music, and tickets seem to lead the pack...

Re: Which Products Would You Buy Online?

Back years ago I use to purchase plants (perennials) for my flower beds off Ebay. My mail lady thought it was so intriguing that I was buying plants off Ebay that she would hand deliver them to me when she saw me out back so she could ask what I bought that time. lol

Years later I still have some of the same plants growing in my yard. Not to many people thought they would last since I bought them on Ebay but they always arrived in good shape and grew really good. The only plant I do recall that I didn't keep after the first season was something I got from Florida and didn't realize it was very poisonous and had to be kept indoors during the winter months. I didn't mind bringing it in but I wasn't keeping something that was not safe in the house with kids and pets. It was a beautiful flowering plant with huge flowers but wasn't worth it.

Re: Which Products Would You Buy Online?

One thing I can think of that I've bought online that isn't on the list is jewelry. I need to stay off those sites or else I'll have too many earrings. Well, I already do have too many, but I can't help it.

I've also bought shoes online.

Buying things online is so much easier at times.

When we went to the Biltmore Estate we sat down at our hotel's computer and ordered the tickets ahead to be picked up at the estate. We saved $10 for each ticket that way.

Re: Which Products Would You Buy Online?

Jewelry and clothes (including shoes) are probably things I wouldn't buy online because I'd want to see them or try them on first.. I've thought about buying a watch online but usually the watch bands are too small for me.
