Question Favorite Wisconsin Art Museum/Art Gallery
Most everyone has visited an art gallery or art museum at one time or another - do you have a favorite Wisconsin art gallery, art museum, or art exhibit?

Was it the Museum of Wisconsin Art in West Bend? Or maybe the Charles Allis Art Museum in Milwaukee?

What kinds of art do you enjoy most? Paintings, mixed media, sculpture?

With the new addition, the Milwaukee Art Museum is an icon. Perfect location, great exhibits.

Don't know all the rest, but they'd be hard-pressed to compare.

I love the Milwaukee Art Museum. When our kids were younger, we made the trip there twice to see it. I haven't been there in years though and would like to go again some time.

BTW...I've been to the Guggenheim in New York City and thought the Milwaukee Art Museum had it beat by far!

Milwaukee Art Museum is a very beautiful and interesting place. I loved just wandering around exploring the many exhibits they had on display. Here is a pic when you first walk in. The building is a piece of art in itself.

I've only been to the Milwaukee Museum, never been to the others or heard of most. I was to the Milwaukee one before they changed it all.

I'm picky about my art. I usually find art fairs or the little art galleries to be more fun than museums.
