I had to choose 'other' simply because I love camping for several of the reasons listed and could not pick just 'one'.
Just getting away from it all makes camping great. I also love the walks near a the lake if there is one, listening to the birds in the early morning ranks high on the list also. Sitting outside near the campfire and checking out all the stars. I really love hiking around and taking pictures of any flowers, deer, whatever interests me at the time. Sunsets and sunrises. Just laying around and doing 'nothing' is great. Paying more attention to the kids and playing card games or just kicking the stone down the path to the bathroom...just 'being' what you want in the moment ...that's what camping can bring out in a person.
Foil cooking is fun, smores, and roasting marshmallows.

We use to have double sandwich cookers with long handles we used to make great toasted cheese sandwiches.
Back around 1985 we went on a 5,000 mile camp trip one time where we camped at different places each night going across the country. That was one of the best vacations I ever had. Awesome memories.
Then about 17+ years ago I actually ended up living in a campground for almost 7 months. That almost made me dislike camping since it was more grueling to actually live like that. But to go camping for a long weekend is still a fun idea.
