My mom was very superstitious and it was somewhat annoying, as I was not at all. I tried using logic but she was too fearful of what might happen if she didn't do what was required. It meant stability for her. We had salt on the floor a lot. However, she was also very spiritual and psychic - a genuinely good woman. So, all together that made her who she was and who would ever tell her she was wrong for that? Not me.

I believe something is real only if a person believes it to be. If one dwells on something enough it is going to happen - they will make it happen! It is true for them. My mom made superstition true for her, and that made her sort of powerful in her own right.

I am not superstitious but believe in unexplainable events happening for no logical reason...if that makes sense.

While I knock on wood, I know knocking on wood only gives you a headache when all you can find is your wooden head.

I have walked under ladders a million times. Stepped on cracks and never broke my mother's back. Although I have been known to be a pain somewhere else!

I'm not at all superstitious but there are some things that I find I do out of habit. My grandmother used to throw a pinch of salt over her shoulder if she spilled any, because the devil is supposed to walk behind and to your left. I don't believe that, but I still toss a pinch of salt over my left shoulder and I get antsy if I'm prevented from doing so. Some kind of psychological pattern I picked up as a kid that's ingrained now.

If a black cat crossing your path means bad luck, I'd be dead by now! I have a black cat and he crosses my path all day (especially if he thinks treats are coming).

I generally think there is an explaination for everything, but I do acknowledge that maybe some things are a little "out of the ordinary". At any rate, if you can suspend disbelief for a little while, you enjoy horror movies alot more, and I love horror movies...

There is an explanation for everything. Sometimes it can be attributed to magnetic forces, other times it's space aliens, and then there's the instances when you just have to make up a reason.

I am not supertitious.but i belive in ghost and thing out of the nomarl there is an explanation for everything that does happen or not...
