Troops in Iraq

What's say we bring our troops home, and station them on our borders, and send the various street gangs that have plenty of practice in "Street Fighting", over to Iraq to handle the light work.
Of course, a system of reward would have to be implemented to keep rival gangs focused on defeating the enemies of the American Way.

An early out for prison inmates, perhaps?

Of course, if we had the draft ~ and everyone had to serve ~ I don't know that we'd be there.

Prison time takes a toll on the body, and the mind. Convicts might be willing to take an early release, but once they get in battle, there would be shattered minds and bodies all over the place.
It's time for our congressional reps to stop undermining our soldiers, sailors, and airman, and let the Generals fight the war. The vast majority of the congress has never served in the military, much less fought in combat. Our commander-in-chief not withstanding. Seems he knows squat about what our troops are going through.
Bush says "God Bless America", and he's giving it away under the guise that it's "The American Way"
