Van Hollen Charges Five With Election Fraud

The Miles-Clancy complaint (3rd one in the list) has some interesting allegations, which will undoubtedly create problems for ACORN in the future. According to Maria Miles, ACORN required employees to register five people in a six-hour period. Over the course of a week, that requirement gradually increased to 20 new registrants in a six-hour period. If they failed to meet their goals on any one day, they would get docked an hour’s pay. If they failed to meet that goal three days in a row, ACORN would fire them.

So instead of getting fired, ACORN workers began registering each other. Not only did that protect their jobs, but one of them began having sex with the supervisor in order to keep from getting fired.

Better late than never when it comes to pursuing ACORN, I just wonder what took so long.

A man with a permit to own a gun, openly carried a pistol (holstered) through the local Walmart. I happened to be there at the time, and witnessed the incident. I was nearly trampled by the Walmart associates running away from the guy, and some running toward him. The local police arrived with the county S.W.A.T. team. When the police found that they couldn't arrest him for fire arm possession, they cited him for their "catch all" disorderly conduct. The man fought it in court, and lost. He then brought the incident to the attention of the Attorney General. All charges were dropped, and the entire police department were reprimanded. The man did not act in a disorderly manner, and was well within his right to openly carry a fire arm.
