This is just too funny.

Fighting two wars, still running Gitmo, still detaining suspects indefinitely, still secretly wiretapping, killing civilians with predator drones, and he was in office only 2 months when he was nomimated.

But hey, give a "No Nukes" speech and apologize around the world and the Noble group gives you a prize. Cool.

Pretty clear the the Nobel group has a particlular political slant, but whatever, I knew that. Saved some face for him after losing the Olympics.

These prizes no longer have much meaning, so this story will fade fast.

Well, Obama is now in this special club along with:

So now we award prizes before people do things and because of their potential. Quote from MSN "...in a stunning decision designed to encourage his initiatives..." Funny, it didn't work that way when I was in school. Awards came after the accomplishments.

Really, this is just a slap to Bush by a bunch of European socialists. The funniest part, is Clinton, with his "global initiative", has got to be fuming.
