lol lol you are so funny how you sit back and let someone merely post a message or an article and then you pounce and reply the way you 'see' things they wrote even though it's so off the mark sometimes. I never once said I was for or against the program... or in favor with gov freebie programs. geez. I merely posted an article about WISCONSIN POLITICAL NEWS. (look above at the actual forum here...WISCONSIN POLITICAL CONVERSATION). I wasn't stating anything about how I felt, just adding a news article that I found that I thought other's may be interested in reading and posting a comment. I was sharing and staying neutral.

Well, it's been about six months since the "cash for clunker" program. After all those billions, do you feel the globe cooling? Is the economy better? Is the car industry any better?
Hmph.
Anyway, let's get back to new taxes coming.

In the previous three budgets, the governor and Legislature diverted $1.2 billion from the transportation fund and replaced some of the cash by authorizing the DOT to issue bonds. Those actions reduced the transportation funds by about $435.4 million, according to Legislative Fiscal Bureau reports.
