After you buy your battery operated glorified golf cart to use less gas and save money, how does the government collect all the gas tax they lose? Check this story. Skip the conspiricy stuff in the article, it's stupid, the interesting point is that if this new tax goes into effect, the old standard gas tax still stays. Double tax. Imagine that. You'd be better off with the big SUV burning up gallons of gas and keeping the gov't happy with what they have. You could by cars that got 500 miles per gallon and you'd not save one penny in cost.

Bush was on board with Global Warming. What are you trylng to show, that politics is interfering with science? I think I've been saying that.

If we take all politics out, we would get to the truth. Which is quickly showing that there is much more debate needed, before we do something stupid like Cap and Trade which will have (for all intents and purposes) no effect on the climate.

O.K. then. For you folks that believe in global warming, how can you believe any "climate scientists" when they come out with studies like this? Wonder what this cost us.

Farmers from 5-7 thousands years ago started global warming. Does that even pass the comman sense "gut check" for you?

Oh, almost forgot the latest nutjobs. More whacko greenies going to the polar area to prove the ice is melting, get stranded again by the cold and ice. Then they have to call the Coast Guard to rescue them. So in reality (theory), they caused more global warming by having to have ships burn fossil fuel to save them. Wouldn't it have been better for this fragile planet for them to just suck it up and freeze to death (for the sake of the planet)?
