I guess Oprah's only "green" if Obama tells her to be. Apparently she's not one of the evil rich people, she's one of the good one's. You know, the liberal celebrity type that tell everyone else to "sacrifice" for the good of the planet.
It's not saying that people that are obese are the only reason why we are suffering through global warming. Its saying that yes, people that are more obese tend to take a car which is emmiting CO2 into the enviornment which is a green house gas, but its also hard headed people that are refusing to acknowledge the problem at hand here. The only reason why the polar ice caps have stopped melting as quickly is bacause of the fact that people are starting to realize the dangers at hand here if we continue to keep guzzling up our fossil fuels they way we are today. Once we run out of the fossil fuels then we have none left, wouldnt that be a shame to watch the hard headed people that were making fun of people that switched over to geothermal, wind, biomass, solar energy or any of the many new renewable energy sources not be able to heat there houses one day when they run out of natural gasses? Because I am here to tell you that if we do not do something about it now then that day will come that we no longer have fossil fuels to heat our houses, cook foods, power our lights and ipods or phones, or even be able to run our cars. That day scientists are claiming is comming soon.

Sure in the begining it may take a chunk out of your wallet but in a few years you will have a lot more money than you started off with when you first upgraded your home. A. Solar pannels give you more home equity. B. They cant tax solar energy where they can on gas. C. Gas can run out and it is very pricey to buy because especially for natural gas they normally charge you by the foot of pipeline to your house, propane as with any other gas is super explosive and it needs certain amounts of oxygen and certain temperatures to work. Have you ever tried to start your car in the winter but couldn't get it going and you couldn't figure out why? Its because the gas froze. Also sometimes its hard to find gas especially in the boonies but the sun shines everywhere. Sure on cloudy days and nights the sun does not shine but you can always buy something to harness the energy like a generator.
O and did I mention that in power outages when everyone elses power goes out thoes with solar panels wont be effective. Read the following supportive quote.

It doesnt change the fact that we are harming OUR planet. We only have one, whether or not we are going through global warming or global cooling we are still disrupting the cycle. This was explained to me as the cold and heat go in seperate directions like a conveyor belt, so even though WOOO its starting to cool down which it's not. Its still messing up the whole enviornment. Greenland is still melting and its making the water rise up which will eventually drown ALL of Miami.

Sure one degree doese not seem like a big deal to us, its only one degree. But our one degree is different than the WORLDS one degree. One degree is nothing to us but it is enough to throw off our entire cycle.
I thank wonderful teachers that care about the future of their students and take the time out to explain the facts on both sides of the argument to their students because it helps us to inform thoes who are less fortunate to know the cold hard facts on what we are doing to the earth. Just remember NEVER FIGHT MOTHER NATURE...Or she will get rid of us so she can fix herself. She is not afraid to do it. New orleans is giving off 1/3 of the fossil fuels it was using because mother nature had enough and had Hurricane Katrina fix it. New Orleans was one of the most polluted areas in the U.S. It's not anymore. I really would suggest trying to help fix her before its too late!

Or maybe the windmill farms that are causing environmental and health problems.
Hmmm. I see that you are telling others to get their facts straight?? Yet I'd look into your enquirer type resources. Wind Farms are NOTT creating enviornmental and health problems.
