The same U.N. (future) leader of the world says, quote: “This is not a climate-change negotiation … It’s about something much more fundamental. It’s about economic strength.” The nations at the negotiation, he added, “just have to slug it out.”
This is hilarious. Greenpeace activists absolutely dumbfounded when asked real questions. They don't know anything, they just do what they're told. Must be a "big oil" conspiracy.
It's official, Copenhagen was an unmitigated failure. 2 weeks of eating, drinking, indulging in Denmarks ladies of the night, leaving carbon footprints all over central Europe and being forced to listen to dictators denounce the U.S.
Then everyone goes home.
Don't worry folks, they're all going to do it again next year in Mexico. At least they won't be snowed in there.
The new talking point is that the U.N. will "take note" of the Obama deal. That's the spin that tries to make it sound like something was actually achieved.
You just have to love New York Times quotes that still make Obama some kind of super-hero:

This of course makes sense when you understand that he is an economist and has no training or education in climate. But somehow he's qualified to be the head of the decision making body that controls the U.N. IPCC. Nah, no politics there.
Any global warming information that uses the IPCC as it's basis is bunk. That includes our government, the EPA, NOAA, NASA or whatever other alphabet soup agency that uses it.

I'm confused. I thought that Cap and Trade was part of re-building the ecomony with the "green jobs of the future". That's what Obama said. That's what Nancy Pelosi said of the House Bill. She said it was a jobs bill.
What, now we don't want a jobs bill? Was it all just a lie? What happened to the "green shoots"? What about all the new "green" industries? Are we still going to rape the land to feed our lust for power? None of it matters anymore? We're going to let more polar bears just die? We're going to let all the ice melt and flood the cities? Here's some comic relief. Green nutball "pedals around the world" to "raise awareness" on the dangers of global warming. Apparently thousands of politicians in Copenhagen weren't able to raise any awareness, so here comes the lone biker. Problem is, he had to cut it short due to his feet freezing.
This guy should have stayed on the CO2 spewing airplane where it's warm. That's right, he logged most of his miles in an airplane (and on boats) increasing the problem he's combating. When the President talks of "green jobs" he is lying to Americans who need real jobs. The stimulus bill was nothing more than a political "pork" bill and is providing no real surge in job creation. Indeed, the administration has claimed to have "saved" or produced jobs in non-existent Congressional districts.
And just what do "green jobs" cost? Why should a job cost anything? Why don't jobs produce rather than cost? Oh that's right, because it's green.
Obama says the grants will create 17,000 cleantech jobs. Well, get out your calculator. $2.3 billion for 17,000 jobs equals $135,294 per job. (And that’s not including the eventual interest on this deficit spending)................
Not to worry, the administration has a plan to solve this, too. It wants Congress to approve another $5 billion for “tens of thousands” more green jobs.
Folks, there's more fantasy going on in Washington than Disney. It's all ideological nonsense. They don't actually care about you, the economy or jobs. If they did, they wouldn't be talking about these stupid "green jobs" that don't exist.

Case in point: Doyles idiotic global warming bill. California has been down this path of restricting their greenhouse gases. They've been through the promise of "green jobs". They've lost more business and jobs than most any other State. But Doyle moves ahead anyway.
They're thick headed, but they've finally figured out that "saving the planet" costs money. Real money, and it's not worth it. Because it's all phoney.
Here's what these nutballs really want. They want you back with a one bottom plow, a donkey, a pig, a cow and a few chickens. Just enough for you. You'll go back to the 1800's except you'll have a big windmill whirling above your small veggie field. Just enough power to feed the Progressive elites electric cars and maybe your Ipod.

The fallacy of electric cars is exposed. First biomass (wood burners), then windmills, now electric cars.
The truth is coming out.
For consumers to break even on their electric car purchase, one of the following things must happen:
• There is a chemistry breakthrough that keeps material costs the same while creating a battery that can store twice as much energy, reducing the cost from $400 per kW/hr to $215.
• A new $7,700 government incentive is offered.
• Owners triple the number of miles they drive annually so the extra cost pays for itself.
• Oil prices increase from $100 a barrel to $375 a barrel.
• A 210 percent incremental gasoline tax is implemented.
Hungarian Scientist proves that CO2 has no effect on climate. I wonder if the economist running the IPCC will take the time to learn something from this. Oh that's right, he's from the IPCC, he's got the consensus thingy on his side. No need to look any further.

California is basically bankrupt, it can't pay it's bills, it delays tax refunds, it's witholding income tax for 2011 now........but it'll somehow pay people to reduce energy usage.
