say what you want

All I can say is "say what you want about Wisconsin Politics "but you don't see Comedians or professional wrestlers running for public office here.

Well, I did laugh when I heard Doyle's budget proposal increasing taxes and fees again.

Source: Milwaukee Journal Sentinal June 24th 2006. Article from the Wisconsin Taxpayers Alliance.

Per capita, the group said, Wisconsin ranked somewhat lower at 12th in the nation, with an average tax burden of $3,714 a person. A third measure, focusing only on the "big three" state and local taxes that most individuals pay income, sales and property taxes ranked Wisconsin third overall, behind only New York and Maine, the group said.

Once again, it appears the only way the State can run is by raising more money. Add to that the local governments doing the same and our total tax burden just keeps increasing.

Maybe a comedian or wrestler would have at least an original thought besides just raising taxes.
