Lake Emily Park is 66 site campground mostly all have electric hook-ups and is situated on 147 acres of land, located by Lake Emily in Amherst Junction,WI.
This park is open from May 1st to October 31 st.
The north campground has 51 sites and the south campground has 15 sites. We camped on the south side where no reservations can be made but since we arrived on a Wednesday ,early afternoon we did not have trouble getting a site. You do have permission to set up camp 48 prior to inhabiting the site, something our neighboring site did to ensure his spot for the weekend
I do not think there is a bad site in this campground and for the number of sites, they have three separate shower buildings. That is very impressive, I never had to wait for a shower stall and this campground was full for the weekend.Included with this park is a nice picnic area and swimming beach on Lake Emily. This park also has a walking trail but I did not take the time to walk it.During our stay we also toured the other fine camping parks that Portage county has to offer, they all looked very nice but Lake Emily has to most number of amenities. Check it out yourself you will find Portage county to be a great place to vacation.

How to get there
Our Camp site on the South side, note: the campsites on the south side vary and the one we had was just about the largest site in the park.
View of Lake Emily from our campsite.Impressive but unfortunately the lake level has dropped at least 18" or the past few years.
a few shots taken on the shoreline by our campsite
