Weekend get-a-way

Looking to take the wife away for a weekend somewhere special. Anyone know of a nice romantic get-a-way? Was thinking Door county area. Anyone have any other options around an 1 hour drive from Manitowoc?

yes...stop in Two rivers ...thats a nice town..there is a nice B&B there.

Door county is a wonderful vacation getaway!!!!

We use to go there alot until we moved.

Nothing is more romantic than a beautiful sunset..and door county has great ones.

Since you live in Manitowoc and are accustomed to Lake Michigan, why not splurge and go to Kohler , the American club?

Two Rivers? where is that? I have only heard of T'rivers, that is only a few miles north of maditowoc, ya hey dareugo hey

pk sunsets are nice but followed by sunrises well then it makes it complete!

lol, it's really a sunset and we barely made it to the park to get this. We heard so much about the sunsets but was running late and could not find a good place to park and see it over the water. We decided to go back to the park where we spent most of the day but by the time we got there the sun was going down fast. Couldn't believe how beautiful it was one minute and the next it was gone.

Never saw the sunrise while we were there. Have to check that out next time we make it up that way.
