Turkey Buzzard in Milwaukee

I have seen a turkey buzzard sailing over Milwaukee twice now. I only see one at a time, but I would imagine that this time of the year there is at least a pair of them. The first one I seen was about two weeks ago over the Miller Valley, just west of downtown. I made the second sighting on th north side, about Sherman & Mill Rd., he was gliding along the railroad tracks.

I have never seen them in Milwaukee before, but we have quite a few back home around Black River Falls.

Just read in the paper Friday or yesterday that there's a nesting pair of Eagles in Mequon for the first time in over a hundred years.

Cool.

Haven't seen turkey vultures in Milwaukee, but have seen many in Northern Waukesha County.
