People that don't live here may be surprised by how many deer live in the city of Milwaukee. We have a lot of large wooded parks, any are connected by wooded parkways along rivers, so they really get around.
Not far from where I live, we have Havenwoods State Forest, right in the middle of Milwaukee, and I often see deer in a field along Sherman Blvd. I took this picture of two deer that were close to the road in the morning we had a little snow in March of this year.
