I've never seen black squirrels before and didn't know we had any in Wisconsin until I started working near Dousman this year. I see them all the time when I drive by a little woods on the edge of town.
Today I saw a black and a grey squirrel chasing each other around and around a tree trunk and it made me laugh. I was standing close enough where I could have gotten picture, but I didn't have a camera with me.
Has anyone else ever seen black squirrels in Wisconsin? If so, where did you see them?
The squirrels in my yard some years back used to be so tame they'd come up on my lap to be fed and petted. One day we left the kitchen window open and a squirrel came in looking for a handout, lol!
