A wildlife biologist who was never trained about disease risks he could encounter while on the job died from the plague after handling a deceased lion without protective gear, according to a federal report.

Uh,,,,, what about common sense? The animal died,,,,, ummmm,, possibly from a disease?????? You would think anyone who had a biology degree would realize the potential for catching something like that.

That's what one would think...but not in this case. Sloppy work led to his own death....that could have been prevented.

Working with wildlife you have to use your protective gear...one of which is rubber gloves and masks when needed.
