Hello from NC
How's the weather today? Kinda cold here for this time of year. Any info about the state is greatly welcomed. I am currently developing a home based business so that when we move I can enjoy the great outdoors with my son and still pay the bills. What is the whitewater like in Wisconsin? How's health care? Is this the state for me and my family?

Welcome Aboard!
Welcome aboard ~ and thanks for introducing yourself. Just signed your guestbook a little bit ago and saw you're a trucker who liked the Badger State and is thinking of moving here.
Well, there's no place like home. Wherever you are, that's your home.
I like ours ~ we're boosters. Used to be much prouder of it. We were once an icon for clean government that we aren't any longer.
Great education here.
You'd better like FOUR seasons, each one stronger than the one before.
Good people and good beer. LOTS of water. Lots of variety within the state.
Great way to make some friends here and check it out more before moving. Many happy returns.
Regards,
Keith

Thank you.
Hey Keith, thanks for the welcome to the forum. I look forward to meeting people and learning more about Wisconsin. One thing we liked about the state was that everything seemed to be truck friendly. It is nice to know that when you're in an 80ft, 80,000lbs vehical, that you can get into most places and are welcomed. During one run through, we found a Mcdonalds with truck parking. To us that was the coolest thing we has seen out on the road. It's not very often that you can park a big beast like that and get something that closer resembles real food. Truck stop food is not always as good as it sounds(if you could imagine).
Thanks,
Jerry
