Greetings.
Found this site on a search. I am originally born and bred in Cheeseland, moved away back in 87. Thought I would catch up on what's up....up Nort. :P
Still have some family and friends up in the Fox Valley area, I don't get up much anymore. My last "vacation" to Appleton was for Hurricane Ivan evac. (and squeezed a Packer Game in) So I'm feeling a bit uncertain about when I'll return. Probably for the next hurricane....!
Thought I would check this out to keep informed on what's going on!

It was funny when I did a search of "community forums" for ya'll up there.....I saw the word "BUBBLER" and cracked up! I KNEW it had to be a good ol' WI forum! I hadn't heard that word in years! When I 1st moved South, almost 20 years ago, I asked someone where a "bubbler" was, and they just stared. I explained what I was looking for, and then it was...."you're not from around here, are ya? It's called a water fountain". Um, ok. Now, when I do visit WI., there are so many things I have to explain to folks up there when I ask for something in "Suthineese"!
I suppose you do adapt to your environment.
I know I've adapted to the warm weather! (oops, sorry) I'll send some sunshine your way.
Especially since I received this warm welcome.
Hate to say it, but I will......I have to go walk some doggies on the beach right now.
