Newbie.....

Hi,

I'm Kelly, I live in Appleton, grew up in Neenah. Joined the Bubbler about a month or two ago I think. Finally decided to say hi. I've been reading the forums, is it all "guys" in here???? lol

Anyways, I have 4 boys, 5, 7, 12 and 35 (husband) I am still raising him and it's not going too well. We do the camping every summer and can't wait until my smaller boys are old enough so we can do the rafting thing soon. We just started the younger ones with fishing and it's still a little scary, hooks flying around like crazy. My dad has us cleaning fish by that age (we were always stuck in the fish cleaning shack or in the garage) gutting, scales flying and we loved to poke the eye balls out. Gross I know but then it was pretty fun when you're 8.

Anyhow, just wanted to say hello.

Welcome Kelly! Just want to assure that theBubbler is not just a boys club! Perhaps you hear less from theBubbler ladies in the forums because we actually think before we talk?

Welcome Kelly! Great introduction! Thanks for telling us about yourself. I'm glad I'm a boy. It's easier sometimes. Besides, I like girls. Oops. Was that one of those not thinking before talking things?

Hope you'll watch the boards here for info about our camping trips this Summer! All our kids were camping by a year old. Good for 'em.

Anyhow, delighted to have you here. Hope you'll introduce yourself in your County Forum, too. We're always trying to 'get local' in Wisconsin. Your suggestions and questions about the site always welcome. Hope you'll enjoy many happy returns ~ and bring your friends and family!

Glad to have you at the bubbler! Nice introduction is right. I used to poke the eyeballs out too when i was a kid. Theres a few women here Kelly but they dont post much due to the fact us guys already have posted the information...hahaha...sorry ladies. Hope you enjoy it here and any questions please holler.
