Hello from H20-town
Hi everyone! I brought beer with me for the introduction party. You did say there was going to be a party, didn't you?
I'm a graphic designer, which means I make all printed items look pretty. It was a recent career change for me and boy, am I glad to be done with school. I'm married with no kids, anniversary is Aug. 19 and it will be 19 years. But, there is no way I'm that old, because I still haven't grown up yet! We currently don't have any pets, unless you count the dustbunnies in my house, and the Japanese beetles that I feed in my garden.
I lived in Watertown my whole life, but plan on getting out sometime in the next 5 years, anyway that's the goal.
I have many interests: art, drawing, painting, seeing live music, art fairs, car shows, cooking, eating, drinking, and being merry, reading, watching movies, flower gardening, biking, hiking, camping, traveling off the beaten path, going for scenic drives, wildlife, nature, waterfalls, trying microbrews, jokes, beachcombing, and hanging out with my rubber chicken (just seeing if you are paying attention).

Re: Hello from H20-town
Reading over the welcome messages.. I see you like waterfalls. Which is your favorite? I used to love Niagara Falls.. standing in the middle of the Peace Bridge with one foot in Canada and one in the US was corny but fun!

Re: Hello from H20-town
I've never been to Niagara Falls, but I have been to waterfalls in NY state in the Finger Lakes area, which is a great area to visit wineries.
I don't have a favorite, each is unique. The pacific northwest area is loaded with waterfalls. Oregon and Washington are wonderful. I've seen waterfalls in Kentucky and Tennessee and Northern California.

Re: Hello from H20-town
I'd like to visit Victoria or Angel Falls (if I could actually afford to travel anywhere).
Just dropping by to say hello.. hm, you like beachcombing. I used to love looking for shells when I lived in the South.

Re: Hello from H20-town
Hi Blue Baboon, sorry to welcome you so late, I'm still catching up on all the posts here
Congrats on your featured spot on the Bubbler!
Did I hear waterfalls? I just took some pictures of the Potato Falls over in Gurney Wisconsin I just uploaded these pictures to my computer so I don't have them on my website yet but check out this website, some cool pics
By the way you can't get to the lower falls, it's washed out but you can get to the top falls, that's where I took some pictures.

Re: Hello from H20-town
I don't know if I've been to those falls or not. I've been to a number of waterfalls in northern Wis. and the U.P.
Another area for lots of waterfalls starts north of Duluth. Just follow the highway along Lake Superior all the way up to Canada and you'll find many waterfalls. We had a nice fall trip up there a few years ago. Don't forget to stop at Betty's Pies in Two Harbors, MN.
