spring thaw
Hi,
I am Tina. I live in Rome (SE) WI. I would like and welcome suggestions about spring fishing. Where are the hot spots?

Re: spring thaw
if you get up to the green bay area, you need to go to voyger park in depere.
you can shore fish & catch alot of walleye.
use a floating jig with a 12-18 inch lead to a 2 way swivel. have a 3/8 ounce weight above it.
tip the jig with a half nightcrawler. use a slow retrive, any resistance, SET THE HOOK.
watch the special season of 1 fish over 28 inches, otherwise it is a 3 limit, no size. it is not unusual to catch 10 an hour.
fun times

Hey! I live in Friendship, not to far from you. Go down HWY 13 on the way to Adams Friendship. You will come up on a Lake called the Roche-A-Cri lake, about 3 miles before you hit hwy 21. Excellent fishing!!! If you drive around to the Damn, there is a run off area on the opposite side. We fish there all the time and catch lots of fish and big mouth bass!

Re: spring thaw
All this talk of spring makes me want to mention that I saw some young cherry blossoms today. The color of spring is starting to show it's pretty face.

Cherry blossoms? Where? I live in the most S/E portion of Wisconsin and there is nothing that looks Spring yet. Can't wait to see some blossoms and get rid of this snow around here.

I welcome you Tina to thebubbler. I like to fish too but I am sorry I do not have any cool spots to give you in your area.
