The Lost Soul
Hello everyone, A few things about myself,...well here goes...I lived the last 36 years in kenosha, wisconsin. Hugh packer fan, Love to draw, currently living in costa rica. Came to take care of my father whom had stomach cancer and whom passed away year ago september 6th. Stayed here and am currently working for Hewlitt Packard company as a security specialist. Thought several times about moving back , but dont want to go back if I cannot find a job. Miss the snow, its so wierd seeing palm trees with christmas lights, doesnt seem right. Like to hear all your comments

Re: The Lost Soul
Welcome Lost Soul... glad you found us!
Be assured that some of us envy your palm trees. We've had a blizzard almost every other day! There's more than enough snow on the ground right now.
Tell us more about Costa Rica. I'd love to know more about the contrasts to life in the frozen tundra!

Welcome to the Bubbler!!
I pet sit for Jeb over at HP in the IT dept. Small world.
I'd take Costa Rica any day if I had the choice. I am not a snow fan. Hate the cold! And IMHO way to much snow already this year!

Welcome to the theBubbler, Lost Soul,
If you can't do your job online, and have to stay in Costa Rica, this is as close to cold winter weather you're gonna get!
Enjoy the forums.

Welcome Lost Soul to the bubbler. I am also from Kenosha, been here for the past 14 years and love it. I will say palm trees with Christmas lights...doesn't sound quite right. I think I would miss the snow at Christmas. Otherwise, I could easily say that I would give up the cold and snow for nicer weather for sure. lol But again I think only for a very long extended vacation and then I'd have to come back. There's nothing like home you know.
Hope to see you in the forums and anytime you have a need to hear how Kenosha is doing just ask and I'll try to keep you up on things around here.

Re: The Lost Soul
I do have to admit, Costa Rica is beautiful and there are tons of things to do such as canopy, mountain climbing, there are over 7 volcanoes to see and the rain forests and all the mountains are definately a thing to see when you wake up in the morning. Nothing like opening your bedroom window and seeing those hugh mountains, man are those nice. These is laso humongous waterfalls to see and there is white water rafting and all other types of activities, not like in kenosha, i can only remember drinking every weekend. Not that that is bad, but i have learned alot since i´ve been here. So I can imagine that the cold is just as i remember it there this time of year. Man I do have to say that I dont miss scraping the windows on my car or shoveling the cold in those 30 below days. So what else is new in wisconsin?
