Expat Erik says hello from Brooklyn

Hi fellow Wisconsinites,

Just signed up at The Bubbler. It's nice to see my countrymen and women banding together. I lived in Wisconsin for 23 years (first Baraboo, then Kenosha, Madison, and Milwaukee), and now I find myself in sunny Brooklyn, NY trying to make it as a writer. My day job is senior editor of PC Magazine, so if any of you need computer help, let me know. I just graduated from The New School with an MFA in fiction writing, and I'm working on my second novel, which takes place in Central Wisconsin in the 1950s.

On that point, I'm currently doing some research for the novel, and I'll be posting an interview request in another part of the forum. Thanks for reading, and I look forward to interacting with all of you.

Somehow I missed this intro also. So I would like to give you a big Welcome now. (better late than never)

I see you mentioned Kenosha. We have been here in Kenosha now for around 14 years now. Love it here. I don't know how long it's been since you last visited our city but there has been alot of changes in the past few years here.

I also noticed you mentioned you are working on a second novel. What is the first one about? Title?

Good luck with your writings and books. My nephew is also a writer and working on getting his books published. I really feel he has a lot of talent and a great writer. But to break into the field is difficult. Any suggestions?
