Hi from Frisco, Texas. We are moving to Fitchburg!

Hello All!

Our family is moving to Fitchburg in March. We are coming from Frisco, Texas (a burb outside Dallas) where we have lived for five years. I am from Indianapolis (GO COLTS!) Sorry I had to do that. My husband is from Vermont and we have two little ones (5 and 6 year-old). I'm a SAHM and husband works and travels a bit. We purchased a home last weekend in Fitchburg after looking in Waunakee, Middleton, Verona and parts of Madison. Holy Cow homes here are so expensive!

I look forward to Madison as my husband and I both miss the Midwest. Texas is fun but I really hated the heat. All the folks that have lived in Madsion that we have spoken with have said nothing but fabulous things about this city. Our family is very excited to be coming.

I'm so glad to have found this forum, it appears to be like our local forum/site Frisco-online.com.

Change can be good. Heat vs. Cold...hmmm...warm it up for me. Temperature is relative.
I had some good things all set in mind to post here, but they went away.

This summer you really should check out the Henry Villa Zoo in Madison with your two little girls. It's really a very nice zoo and free. I posted a few pictures on the forum topic Photography (zoos). We went there for the first time last summer and looking forward to going back again this summer.

There is a ton of fun things to do in the entire area of Madison. I'm sure you will enjoy the area.
