Hi All,
I'm Steve. I work and live in the "city of parks" Janesville.
I'm a musician, A drummer in the band "Nothing But Trouble". We play Classic rock, Country rock, And, Outlaw country.
I also write poetry about everyday life, Love, and experiences.
Music is a big part of my life as you can surely tell. I truely enjoy it though.
Other than that, I like to IM chat, Email and meet new friends along the trail of life.
I'm glad to be a part of the bubbler crowd and enjoy all it has to offer.
Please feel free to say hi or chat sometime. To quote an old phrase: "Friends make the world go round".

Thanks PK for the warm welcome. I really enjoy writing poetry and I probally will post some of my poetry in the readers and writers forum soon. What type of poetry would you like to see? Thanks again for the warm welcome.

My daughter writes poems all the time. She says there is something 'going on' in her head at times that she has to write down. She will be in class doing her work but a thought, or feeling needs to come out and she writes it down. It doesn't always have to be 'her' feelings but 'stories' always revolve in her and she loves to 'go with it'. She writes short stories as well as poems.

I find poems that make you sit in 'wonder' about the words after you read them very interesting. Something with thought behind the words. Any emotion that is sad, deep, thought provoking, makes you really 'feel' for the subject in the poem or one that wrote it is usually good.

But since I love to laugh...wit is always most fun. It's always nice to walk away with a smile and feeling good inside after you read something too.

PK, By all means, Go on. Talking and listening are things I do best. I try to be creative in whatever poems I write about. Your daughter is correct in the way poems literally come to your head. It happens to me all the time. Like a flowing river, Endless words and ryme come together. The subject can be anything, anywhere. anyday. Sometimes 2 or 3 poems can be written in a day. I go through quite a bit of paper. But that's ok. I enjoy what I write.

Hi,
