Theatre in Waukesha Cty?

So, I've been living in Waukesha Cty for four or five years now... and the only theatre groups I've been part of were in downtown Milwaukee. Now I'm all moved into my new apartment in Pewaukee and I can't help but wonder -- is there a community theatre group or community music group a little closer to home, either in Pewaukee or somewhere else in Waukesha Cty?

There are lots of wonderful theatre troupes in the suburbs.

Waukesha Civic Theatre posts auditions on their website, and you can also check the Monday edition of the journal sentinal for auditions. Civic is a great little theatre with a lot of history, and beautiful space that they moved into only a few...hmm...7 years ago? I've done a few shows at Civic and really enjoy it.

Sunset Playhouse in Elm Grove tends to do bigger and better things. Done a few shows there, too. Pretty much any show you see at Sunset will be good, so definately check them out.

Falls Patio Players, Shorewood Players, Village Players of Mukwonago...there's a lot of theatres outside of "The City" that do some enjoyable shows. Check 'em out!
