Fall Color Hike
Saturday, October 20, 2007
2 - 4 pm
Adult/Family Program: As fall approaches the number of hours of daylight shortens each day.
This seasonal contrast kicks off a series of chemical reactions withing tree leaves that cause Wisconsin's spectacular autumns.
Come to Nashotah Park and hike the trails littered with red, orange, tan and yellow leaves that crunch underfoot.
Explore the Ecology of Fall with Naturalist Larry Kascht, and see what birds and animals we can observe.
$3 per person, $5 per family (plus Waukesha County Park sticker or daily entrance fee). Nashotah Park, Picnic area #2, Waukesha County Park, Waukesha
