Tell-A-Friend Milestones and Trends

Tell-A-Friend is a Feature in the black menu bar at the top and bottom of virtually every page of theBubbler.com.

When you are on a page of theBubbler.com that you'd like to share, simply click on "Tell-A-Friend" in the black menu bar. You'll get another page on which to enter your name and email address and the name and email address of a friend. You also get a 'comments' box you can use to write your own comments.

[NOTE: As of August, 2006, the TELL-A-FRIEND Feature IS NOW WORKING FOR MEMBER PAGES] The one place 'Tell-A-Friend' (TAF) doesn't work quite right is on your Member Page. To make your Member Page work right with TAF, login to theBubbler, then scroll down the page till you find the "Online Now" list of Members. Click on your Member name in that list. That will bring up your Member page in a way that works with TAF.

Here are the number of times Tell-A-Friend was used during May:

May 2003: 17
May 2004: 7
May 2005: 35
May 2006: 68 (thru 2 p.m. on May 31st).

Most TAF's are used by Members telling others about a particular want ad in our Free Wisconsin Classifieds.

We'll give you a monthly update on TAF usage in this forum topic.

JUNE 2005: 41
JUNE 2006: 70

There were only two days in June when T-A-F wasn't used, including Fathers Day.

Yep. Looking good so far.

For the record, we're at 42 T-A-Fs so far in April.

Hopefully the video tutorials will help people use these. We encourage free classified ad posters to go to the 'View Details' of their new ad and to use the T-A-F to send a notice of their ad to all their friends and family who can then further spread the word that their item is for sale. Of course, that helps spread the word about theBubbler.com, too!

I just used this feature yesterday to invite the man who's skunks I recently took in.
He is originally from WI.
Just waiting to see if he joins. I'll have to go drop him an email since I"m thinking about it.

For the record, we're at 68 T-A-Fs so far in April 2007.

We'll do a separate short video tuturial on the use of Tell-A-Friend.

Already used twice this morning to get off to a good start for May!
