I imagine for every thread posting, there's a google link. Then, for every new member, there's some sort of notation on google. I kinda like to see the community grow, as well.

I hope this will be even more true when we get new Forum software installed. vBubbletin (see vBulletin.org).
If things go as planned, we should get the new forum software installed this Summer. Not to worry...we'll migrate all of the existing stuff over.
Better still, we plan to have revenue sharing in the Forums. Basically, that means that the text ads sprinkled throughout will result in some cash flow for the people with posts in those Forums when someone clicks in that area. We won't promote that (against terms of service). Perhaps that's why I mention it now, before it is in place.
The vB software is easier to optimize for indexing, making a new search engine result (or several) for good new posts and threads.
Actually I get 58k + .. but I expect this number would be different for everyone (and at various times) because of Google's "search filter"..
Google omits search results based on your perceived interests and includes others it thinks you're interested in.. I hate that it does that because you don't see things you actually might be interested in or be looking for.
