Augmented Reality Technology: Now This Is Cool!
Been looking into the emerging Augmented Reality technology..
From nothrust on YouTube:
Have you ever heard of the fascinating new technology called Augmented Reality? It allows you to add virtual 3D-content to your real environment - even more - to interact with this 3D-content in your personal space. My video shows an example where we superimposed 3d-content on a classical encyclopedia (a kind of a magic book) Augmented Reality will change to way we use information in the future. You can meet your friends while walking through the street, your virtual buddy walking next to you. You can shop online and try out your favorite products (e.g. furnitures) in your living room before buying them. Generally speaking Augmented Reality brings to together two worlds: The real world and the virtual world. This will allow to combine every kind of user related content with the personal world of the user.

Speaking of COOL.. if you have a printer and a webcam, this site allows you to print out a Solar Panel Marker which when displayed in front of your webcam displays an augmented reality environment you can interact with!
