What if your Wii game says you're fat? Interesting article...

Just came across Games Inc. Help! My Wii Says Iâ€™m Fat - BusinessWeek which discusses the new Nintendo Wii - a game that uses the player's motions with a video to make the game interactive.

The debate is about the fitness level this new module will give the user, from a body mass indicator - bmi - like this one Calculate your BMI - Standard BMI Calculator

I'm just glad that there are video games now that give kids (and adults) the opportunity to move more than their thumbs and fingers.

I can finally say that I actually like a game system. The Wii is a great way to work off some energy and it does really get kids off their 'butts' and moving.

I love playing the bowling game with my son. The boxing is also fun..think I kinda surprised my son when I showed interest in that one. lol

Now baseball was kinda strange. At first I could not hit the ball at all and I knew I looked really funny trying to do so..at least my son sure thought so with all the chuckles coming out of him. lol

I know they have workout programs as well as the sports and games. I think there is enough offered for a Wii that most everyone will like owning one.

My son got a Wii Fit and it knows not to tell me that I'm fat...I'll throw it out the door. lol

It is a great way to exercise but I still like the bowling game the best.

Had a Wii for several months.. just sold it to help pay off my new computer..

Bowling was my favorite.. had a high score of 265.

I have 2 Wii's. One in my livingroom (came with the new bf) and mine which is in our bedroom. In the bedroom there is no room to play other than from the bed, so interactive games aren't for that one. However, I dont recall ever using the one in the bedroom, but the one in the livingroom gets used nightly by the bf. He is way into all the Wii sports & I sometimes bowl and tennis with him.

I miss bowling on the Wii.. used to play that every night.. liked archery too!
