What feature would you like to see on theBubbler?

Well, what feature would you like to see added to theBubbler?

I'm trying to determine what features will generate the most interest.

Best new features ideas

I'd like to see ratings of all of the listings. Ratings for websites (speed, content, graphics, timeliness), ratings for establishments (best place to eat, best burger, best beer, best bartender, best of whatever Wisconsin town, etc.)

I like the classifieds! Just like to see the redundant ones eliminated.

A single control panel for theBubbler.com users would be nice...a single place to personalize theBubbler with the user's preferences for a theBubbler.com home page:

personalized sports, news-feed, weather, etc.

plus a single control for personal journals, classifieds, chat, etc.

all on the same page

Looking forward to seeing it all at theBubbler.com!

Good idea. I'm going to start limiting Classified posters to one or two categories for their ads, even if it fits into more than that. I'm sick of seeing one ad in ten different categories. theBubbler isn't meant to be a spam vessel.

I added some of these features to the "Your Account" page.

If anyone out there wants to see anything else added to theBubbler, let me know! webmaster@theBubbler.com

That's an interesting idea...
Maybe a web-ring for each of the categories on the site?
I.E. a Wisconsin "White Water Rafting" web-ring?

If you have ideas for any specifics, let me know!

TheBubbler.com offers "Pivot Points" now. Enter your interests in the your personal profile and then search for others who've listed the same interests. Trouble is, the pivots don't always match exactly. It would be nice to pop-up a new window with common terms or suggestions on terms. The social networking aspects of personal profiles theBubbler already has are an excellent start...just like to see them refined.

Did you find that on another site? Or did someone send it to you?

shirts,hats,tank tops

I would like to see theBubbler store. Try CafePress.com. It would be great to see other Wisconsinites wearing this gear.

You can create and sell t-shirts, mugs, mousepads and more with your own designs on them. You just upload a picture, and they create a complete storefront for you - completely FREE. It's really easy and doesn't take long - plus it's a lot of fun. Try it out by visiting this link:

Send a message via Yahoo to coppercutlass
I would be interested in a Wisconsin Gardening Section. People from all over the state could give gardening tips, ask gardening questions, help with landscaping ideas, etc. There are so many different planting zones in Wisconsin so the options are endless. Members could discuss what works in their garden and what doesn't. I have also heard of "garden clubs" that swap seeds and plants with one another. It could also be a way to bring in new members and possibly create new friends among the Bubbler's current members.
Thanks

Other idea...

As someone who volunteers nearly full-time helping animals find new homes (in addition to having a real job), I have come across a pretty cool thing for websites. http://www.petfinder.com/tools/featuredpet/ has all the details, but basically there would be a module that would have a featured homeless pet from Wisconsin (There are over 120 shelters/rescues from WI on the petfinder.com website). It's really easy to set up.

Thanks!

I second Angels_Wish... there are many pets that need a home. I just heard on the news that the Sheboygan County Humane Society has an excess of cats and some may have to be put to sleep if they are not adopted. Let's find these cats good homes! http://www.sheboyganchs.org
