Health section?

Have you ever thought of adding a health section?

This would be a place to post articles about health issues or updates, such as:

bird flu update,

state wide flu reports,

alerts, outbreaks,

vaccination articles,

updates, suggestions, ideas, news

current events on health issues

someone making the news for surviving a rare illness, or a woman giving birth to a 5 babies etc...

stem cell discussions or updates,

medical discoveries articles to discuss,

articles, what to do in an emergency, importance of eating correctly,

Fat content in fast food places,

the list goes on and on....

We (MODs) have been asking for this for years now and no new forum has been created as of yet.
I hope with new blood, maybe we will get results?

Ok, pk! You're the straw and I'm the camel.

AJE's been wanting this section for a long time, and RedRaven's right...we hesitated because we were concerned about forums without enough action.

Another issue was 'where do we put it?'

Well, I just changed 'Hobby Central' to 'Wisconsin Hobbies and LifeStyles'.

This could be a big deal. Thanks for suggesting it in the first place Amber, and for a good argument for it, Patti (and for a little 'reinforcement', Earl).

Who wants to Mod?

Went ahead and added a cooking Forum, too...with Brain as a Mod.

LOL I started to read it and stopped and thought..'hey, this sounds like my post" lol No problem...think the whole idea is great.

I have no objection to be added on as mod if you need another. AJE and Redraven sound perfect for the job but I'll be there if you feel you need me also. If not, that's ok also.
