ignore feature in case someone pm's you that you no longer want to talk to? We had that on another forum. Actually I did have to use it on someone one time....but eventually that person was banned. Usually if someone is of that nature to bug you than they show that side of them in other ways on the forum and in the end they get taken off.... But it's still a good idea to have it for the members just in case they simply do not like someone.....ummmm you better not try to 'IGNORE' me geenbean!

Eventually we plan to transition the Forums to http://www.vbulletin.com/ which has the ignore feature.

We're using vBulletin now at http://www.WebLoggers.org

I noticed some features at webbloggers...just holding the cursor under the thread title will bring up the last post in a pop-up kinda deal, without clicking on the thread, and having to navigate back to the forum list. This is a cool thing. 8)

Yes! vBulletin is an excellent forum software and we plan to migrate to it one day.

Ignore is definitely something that should be available to members. If possible, we'll build it out from vBullletin into the rest of the site, after that change. If that wasn't already the plan, I'll make sure it gets in there somewhere. _Life_ needs an ignore button, I swear.
