How about a way to insert pics into a forum posting without having to be on a remote host.

I opened a photobucket account. I'm able to store, and link many of my more interesting photos there.
Here's one:

As long as I'm on this thread, how about a muscle car forum. pk is a gear head, and I'm sure there are other "Hot Rodders" in Wisconsin.

:lol: no, 'pk' is not a 'gearhead'...my husband is a master tech (mechanic) at a dealership in Highland Park, Illinois. His user name on most forums is 'gearhead'. If you saw the pic on 'my page', that is why it says, gearheads girl. :lol:

I actually love the cars from the 70's and owned a few really great ones back then...but that's about it for me.

I also use photobucket. You can resize the picture, create an album, slideshow etc. It makes it very easy to put pictures on here also.

Well it's not a topic of any real interest to me but that doesn't mean it's not a good idea. And yes, I would contribute, I love to blah, blah, about just about anything...well..within reason..(golf is not something I would talk about..and/or beer making) :roll:

Our gallery will allow all of our Members to store and share thousands of images!!!!!!!!

We'll also tag them so they'll be noted by community and county as well, so someone looking for pics in Milwaukee, for example, could get all the great images of the domes pk's been adding.

AND, in either phase 1 or phase 2 of the new theBubbler, we'll be adding a google maps API (application programming interface) so that with one click you'll be able to get a map to the domes, for example.

It'sa comin'!

I'm looking forward to awesome galleries right here on theBubbler VERY SOON! (Weeks!)

We'll start with 4,003 professionally captured photographs from the Wisconsin Department of Tourism, then add virtually unlimited photo/albums from our Members!

The tagging feature will be very cool, with photos identified by community and county as well as whatever category you name and who the poster is.

Wisely spent a good deal of time in the Photography Forums today.
