Hero remembers 50-vehicle crash on I-43 five years later.

It was the morning of Oct. 11, 2002, and Larry Freitag had just dropped off his first grocery shipment of a long day at the Cedar Grove Piggly Wiggly store. He turned his semitrailer east toward Interstate 43 and recalled seeing "the most beautiful sunrise you ever saw in your life."

UGH...........I remember that horrible day. My aunt and uncle lived right there at the Cedar Grove / i-43 exit in that white farm house. My uncle & cousin both drove semi's. I called them when I heard of the news and they were alright. It was a relief, but still so sad seeing that tragic accident.
