Description
This is one of my favorite recipes. I always have a pound or two of frozen easy peel shrimp in the freezer just in case we have visitors. It never fails to please the crowd.
|
| Ingredients |
- 1 pound of shrimp ( I use deveined and ez peel)
- 1 stick of butter
- 3/4 of a bottle of dark Leinie's beer
- 1/3 of a container of BBQ shrimp seasoning (available from fiestaspices.com)
- additional seasoning to taste
- a loaf of Itailian or french bread
|
| Preparation |
|
No prior preparation is required.
|
| Instructions |
- In a cast iron skillet, melt the butter, add 3/4 bottle of beer and BBQ shrimp seasoning. Simmer for a couple of minutes and then add the shrimp. Cook until the shrimp is done. Drink the balance of the beer. The more of the BBQ shrimp seasoning that you use the spicier the shrimp will be.
- Serve in a large bowl. Use the bread to dip into the sauce.
- Enjoy.
