An interesting letter from the Milwaukee Rescue Mission showed up at theBubbler offices this afternoon.

The Milwaukee Rescue Mission provides spiritual and material help and direction for the homeless and poor of the Milwaukee community.

Imagine what it's like to cook more than 600 meals every day. Since 1893, MRM has served the homeless, the hurting, and the hungry--but only with the help of caring friends like you. We receive no government funding.

URGENT NEED:
We work to make each child here feel special with a gift for Christmas. We urgently need new, unwrapped toys for children of all ages.

This makes a great snack for after work/school. I make this up in batches to keep in the freezer year-round.
