I came across this purebred cat rescue website based in our city of Kenosha one time while on our search for a Cornish Rex, Savannah, or Sphinx cat
To my surprise...I became addicted to this site! lol
My daughter and I fall in love each time they add another beautiful cat's picture. But of course many have sad stories of how they became homeless and that usually breaks our heart and makes me think we have to do something to help these little kitties. (and no, I can't adopt them all! lol). So I thought since I always find it fun when I see one of our favorites have an application pending meaning that someone is trying to adopt the cat, I realized that I would love to be able to help in some way to find more homes.
So, thinking along these lines I contacted the rescue site and asked if I could please add pics of some of the cats on here so help promote their cause. And I am happy to say that they were very interested in the extra help.
So to start with I wanted to put first 'Billy Rae. She is so adorable.
Here is Billy Rae's picture and description:
BILLY RAE...is a spirited BLUE AND WHITE BICOLOR PERSIAN. She is spayed and has a medium care coat and bright gold eyes. This happy little kitty is apparently a member of the "Red Hat Society" which is a social club for energetic, fun, "mature" ladies. And that certainly describes this sweetheart! Billy Rae may be 9 years old but she is ALL fun and PURRSONALITY! Extremely loving and affectionate, this kitty has been through a LOT and could really use a loving home where she can spend the rest of her life living up to the Red Hat Society credo: "we believe silliness is the comic relief of life." Billy Rae gets along great with other pets, is fine with respectful kids and loves petting and grooming. The reduced "mature" adoption fee applies. BEING FOSTERED IN SHEBOYGAN, WI
DOE...is a tiny BLACK PERSIAN. She is around 1 year old, spayed and has a lovely "doll" face, ebony coat and bright gold eyes. She has been shaved into a neat lion cut for easy maintenance. This little girl is LESS than 5 pounds and looks like a bitty black stuffed animal. Her foster mom describes her as "one of the cutest Persians I have ever seen!" Doe and her sister wound up in rescue when their owner could no longer care for them. Doe is VERY personable and loves to be with her people all the time. She is fairly active, enjoys her toys and likes to chat with folks about her day. She is fine with other cats and would probably be ok with a gentle older dog, but due to her very small size an active young dog would not be appropriate nor would young children. Her coat is medium-care, so people familiar with the care of long-haired pets would not find it a challenge. BEING FOSTERED IN MILWAUKEE, WI.
For all information about this cat and how to adopt her please check out the following:
This one is such a cutie. How can anyone not want to just take this cutie home! Hopefully someone checking this out will want to do just that. I love the cute pink little nose.
According to the description he would make a great buddy to watch the game with too. (or maybe the soaps, right Carol?)
BAILEY...is a handsome BLACK AND WHITE BICOLOR PERSIAN. He is 5 years old, neutered and 4 paw declawed and has a medium-care full coat, nice "doll" face and bright gold eyes. He is around 8 pounds. Bailey is very much a "people cat" and rather thinks of himself as a PURRSON. He is very affectionate and loving, enjoys being brushed and has been a real easy kitty for his foster mom to care for. Bailey is easy-going, more of a couch-potato cat, and would be a good buddy to watch the game with. He would be ok with another easy-going cat or dog and respectful older kids. BEING FOSTERED IN RACINE, WI.
OMG.....knock it off Patti. GRRRR!!! If only...........but I can't. You are right, why hasn't anyone claimed them to be a part of their family permanently. They are such beautiful cats.

You are so right. They are beautiful cats. I'm sure with all the members we have on the bubbler and how far and wide the bubbler reaches not only here in Wisconsin but in surrounding areas that we all can help find homes for a few of them.
I just felt compelled to help in some small way and I thought, wow, why not put them on here to see if anyone may be interested.
If someone is interested but can't have another kitty at this time, please think about helping in some way. Many different items are needed and a donation towards the needs would be greatly appreciated.
I have always loved ragdoll cats. They are known for being very gentle. And check the beautiful blue eyes!
RHONDA...is a lovely SEALPOINT RAGDOLL. She is spayed, front declawed, just had a full dental done and has a medium-length silky coat and bright blue eyes. She weighs around 7 pounds. She is 8 very healthy years old and is a vigorous kitty! Rhonda lived her whole life with one family and was given up when they could no longer care for their pets. She lived with another cat and a larger dog and seems fine with other pets in her foster home. Like most ragdolls, Rhonda is gentle, sweet-natured and not hyperactive. She is affectionate and would do best in a quieter home. Respectful older kids would probably be best. The reduced "mature" fee applies. BEING FOSTERED IN MADISON, WI.
CHYNA...is a lovely SEALPOINT BALINESE. She is around 1 year old, spayed, and has an easy, silky coat and bright blue eyes. Chyna was here before and adopted out but the new owner's resident kitty was not happy with a newcomer so came back to us. However that just means she's going to make someone else very happy! Chyna is very friendly, active, playful and just delightful to be around. She especially likes MEN, though anyone who will give her attention is appreciated! She does well with cats that are NOT timid or shy as she has a very self-confident personality. So another easy-going or similarly self-confident cat would be great! Dogs would be fine as would respectful kids. This is a great kitty! BEING FOSTERED AT THE CAT DOCTOR VET CLINIC IN MILWAUKEE, WHICH GENEROUSLY DONATES SPACES TO SHOW OUR CATS!
I checked out the Web Site myself and saw all the beautiful cats. It just blows my mind that these cats are only in foster homes and not in a real forever home. I am sharing the news and the link. Thanks for caring Patti!
I'm happy to say that 2 out of the 5 kittys posted so far has found new homes. Not sure if it was due to anyone on the bubbler but I do want to thank everyone for looking at this post and checking out the site.
Keep checking back as new pics will be added. You never know you may just see a cat that will make you have that need to add to your family.
If was was looking for the most beautiful long hair cat, this would be the one I would pick. Lulu has the most gorgeous hair coloring and the green eyes are beautiful. She sounds like a great cat to have especially if you don't have any other cats and looking for just one to spoil.
LULU...is a gorgeous GOLD PERSIAN. She is around 4 years old, spayed and has a full, medium-care coat, "doll" face and bright GREEN eyes. We maybe get in gold Persians twice a year if that, so she is a RARE FIND! This 7 pound cutie is just a lovely, lovely cat in just about every way! Very personable and a lap sitter, Lulu loves to lay on her back and beg for tummy rubs and her motor is always running. She just loves people...BUT she is not fond of other cats and needs a home where she will be the One and Only. A gentle dog would be fine but no other kitties. Older respectful kids would be fine also. BEING FOSTERED IN MILWAUKEE, WI.

[/u][/b]How can anyone say no to these beautiful blue eyes looking at you??
ZOE...is an elegant SEALPOINT HIMALAYAN. She is 4 years old, spayed and has a full, thick coat in coco and cream and bright blue eyes. Zoe is a vigorous, happy little girl who LOVES to be brushed (always a PLUS!) and enjoys attention. She is very self-confident and a bit of a DIVA/PRINCESS so she knows exactly what she likes and expects everyone else to know as well (those of you who have had female himmies know exactly what we are talking about! She is a funny kitty who really needs a home where she can be QUEEN of her domain (she is not fond of other pets) and will respect her obvious royalty. Zoe would do best with a quiet, adult household with one or two people who are familiar with the maintenance needs of Persians/Himmies. BEING FOSTERED IN MILWAUKEE, WI
OMG what a beautiful himalyan!! I have to remember I have all sorts of baby coons coming shortly.....I can't have kitties and coons...they dont mix well.

Yes, this is one beautiful cat. I'm hoping that someone sees her, falls in love with her, and gives her the best home soon.
She looks like she would love to just sit on a lap and be loved in her old age. But is you check out her video on the website under her picture she looks like she could be alot of fun.
I took one look and fell in love with these two...hope someone else does too and opens their home up to both of these beautiful cats. I would hate to see them torn apart from each other.
SASHA and SILLA...are two breathtaking SEALPOINT SIAMESE sisters. They are 2 years old, spayed and have easy short coats, delicate features and turquoise eyes. This tiny duo (each girl weighs LESS than 5 pounds) was abandoned at a Chicago shelter by a breeder who had too many cats. They came into rescue absolutely terrified, huddled together and probably thinking their world had come to an end. They have done very well in a quiet foster home and are absolutely GORGEOUS cats. They are a bit on the shy side but will come up to visitors out of curiosity and do enjoy being petted and interacted with. Sasha is the more chatty of the two but is not excessively vocal. Silla pretty much purrs all the time. They enjoy sitting on their foster mom's lap, being doted on and playing with toys from time to time. These girls are emotionally very dependent on each other, as you can see by their photo, and as such we very much would like to adopt them out TOGETHER. They would do best in a quiet adult home that is experienced with and cherishes this breed. They would be ok with another easy-going cat that would not dominate them. No dogs or small kids please. BEING FOSTERED IN RACINE, WI.
I so wish I could adopt one, I love cats, but when I had asked the manager here if I could she said that she would prefer that I didn't because the carpet was pretty new in here at the time (it was a yr old then). Oh well, just keep waiting till I can get out of here.
I noticed sometimes they will say that the cat uses the litter box 100 percent of the time. Some are even 4 declawed. Maybe if you show your landlord one that states this he will change his mind. Can't hurt to ask. Besides how can he say no if you show him how cute these kitties are.
After reading the post about living in an apartment I remembered this pefect cat. If you never seen a Munchkin before you really need to check this kitty out. They are known for their very short legs so they tend to not jump up on things or climb all over. This little kitty is even neutered and 4 paw declawed and it states he would be perfect for an apartment.
Just had to add this for those that would like to have an apartment cat.
FERGUS...is a darling BROWN TABBY MUNCHKIN. He is around 3 years old, neutered and 4 paw declawed. He has a short, easy striped coat, bright gold eyes, and the short legs of his breed. Fergus is a gentle, sweet little cat who just LOVES people. Pet him, talk to him, make him feel special and he will roll over on his back and love you forever! He is a little on the shy side at first but boy does he warm up and talk to you (not super chatty, just conversational! Fergus is playful, appropriately active and enjoys combing. He would be a perfect apartment cat for folks looking for ONE kitty to complete their family. Fergus is afraid and defensive around other pets and really needs to be the only cat. He would not be able to tolerate small kids, but older respectful ones who would love him would probably be fine. BEING FOSTERED IN MILWAUKEE, WI.
Have any of these kitties pictured here been adopted yet??
Yes. When an application shows up on the cat I have gone back and put a note on top of the picture saying that an application is on. When an adoption has been finalized the picture is actually removed and I just added that the cat has been adopted.
So far, 1 (Chyna) has been adopted and 2 (Bailey, and Doe) have applications on them.
I checked out the site Pure Bred Cat Rescue > Home and noticed that out of the 33 cats on the adoption page, 13 now have either applications or adoptions on their pictures.
