But the thrill of walking on Abbey Road must have been great. Glad you had an opportunity to do so!
By the way..I did have the sound on when watching your clip. I intend to watch it again and try to figure out some of the buildings. Did you get to tour the inside of very many places?

A week stay in London is not enough time. We exhausted ousrselves from that trip but we did see many things. Buckingham is only open in the summer, but Kennsington was open. We looked at many cathedrals but only entered a few. The pubs(I live in Appleton, I do not like smoke in bars)but they are quaint, the ale (mmmmmmmmmmmmm )and food was just soso but I do like fish and chips with my ale.
When I first started to compile the photos for that clip , that Pete Towend song came immediately to my mind. I could picture him working on a new song and then going out for a walk only to be inspired by what he saw and imagined. I think it fits perfectly.
The ship is the Cutty Sark a museum for ship figureheads.
The lone tree is a top a small hill cose to the Greenwich Observatory. There are shots of the obervatory in the clip al well. The dome behind the tree is St Pauls Cathedral.
and the Abbey Road now if I had more time I would have travled to Liverpool.
I walked down that street and I swear I heard John Lennon saying"I dig a pigmy" and Paul singing " bang bang, Maxwell's silver hammer came down.."
as you can see I could go on and on..
Visting London was never big on my list but I would go back at the drop of a hat , if I could.
Back to the old grind that nasty 4 letter word "W O R K"
