I just won a Macro Photo Contest with this picture that I submitted. If you enlarge it you can see how the first daisy's raindrop on the petal is reflecting the macro daisy's picture in the background. How neat is that?
Anyways, enough people liked this one for a different macro shot and voted it to win.
I also won a contest last month with the subject being, take a picture of yourself, taking a picture. I took one looking into my curio cabinet that had a mirror in the back ground, glass on top and bottom and looking through a beveled glass door. The outcome with the reflections was unique enough to win.
Like I tell everyone, you can't win if you don't try. And most importantly for me is getting to view all other entries and learning something from each one. That is actually the best part of contests I think.
