If you have adobe photoshop or even adobe elements try this free plug-in.It may even work in gimp but I have not tested it there.

I do the same. I tried for hrs yesterday to find a freebie program on my computer or free off the net to take my picture and round the edges. Get what I mean? But I couldn't find one anywhere.

I gave up on that a while ago and just toss them over to paint and convert there and give up on any other fancy stuff at this time.
